Apocalypse Now - coppola's adaptation of joseph conrad's heart of darkness this movie is quite a trip.Martin sheen's haunting voiceover,his drowning of the whiskey bottle with a streak of phsychedlic undercurrents and his encounters with Kurtz are an absolute delight.And what abt Kilgore ordering his crew to play Wagner as they destroy a vietnamese village.If you think it cant get much better than this watch Brando utter 'the horror'.Add to this stunning visuals and brilliant music.
